Airport Lounges

Hi everyone, all the way from Hong Kong.

I still cannot believe I am on holiday…Reason being, it was pretty over due, feels like a dream, again! I think it only hit me when I arrived in Hong Kong. So just a little bit of a recap on our Far East vacation trip thus far…Yesterday after my better half & I checked in our luggage & recieved our boarding passes, we headed towards the SAA Platinum Lounge at OR Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, South Africa.

A quiet escape in airports that is there for us to just chill out, relax & devour in a wide selection of food items along with, all you can drink beverages. Indeed, making the most of it & refreshing ourselves before the long, 13 hour flight to Hong Kong. I really advise people to make use of these travel lounges in airports, it just makes you unwind & the wait in Airports, such fun!

Plus you have free unlimited wifi access & my highlight, the private showers! Like your very own bathroom in the airport, it’s fantastic. They also supply you with fresh towels & hygienically it’s incredible, especially  if public toilets, are not your thing.

Once our flight landed on Hong Kong soil,  we have an eight hour wait in transit. Which is an ultimate breeze, as we currently enjoying the facilities of the United First Class  Lounge in Hong Kong airport. We ate from a wide variety of complimentary foods  from the buffet. Later on we hit the showers to get our bodies rebooted, we actually got pampered with the first class service. After that long flight all you want to do is get scrubbed. We were provided with tooth brushes, toothpaste, 1 hand towel, 1 bath towel & shower gel, lotions, soaps, ear buds…The works!

I must say, it was really such fun & adventurous times at the airports.
